ABOUT
Alexandra McDonald is the founder of Corso Fleur. She grew up around water—going to the beach every day and practically living in a swimsuit all year round. Inspired by that lifestyle, she envisioned filling a gap in the swimwear market: a line designed specifically for outdoor activities that combines sustainability, durability, and timeless style. The goal was to create swimwear that performs well in active settings while upholding high environmental standards.
Designed in Los Angeles, each piece of Corso Fleur reflects the city’s dynamic energy and innovative spirit. Every suit is made in Bali, Indonesia, using GRS & U Trust® certified fabrics crafted from salvaged fishing nets and plastic bottles. The result is eco-conscious, high-performance swimwear with saltwater and chlorine resistance, plus UV 50+ protection—perfect for active beach days and extended outdoor wear.
The brand is rooted in minimalism with purpose—designing swimsuits that reflect an energetic spirit while maintaining a sleek, streamlined aesthetic. Each piece blends form and function, offering confidence, comfort, and sustainability.
The name Corso comes from the Italian word meaning “in progress,” symbolizing the importance of being present. In both sports and life, progress is ongoing—constantly evolving and always happening in the here and now. That philosophy lives in every piece of the Corso Fleur collection, made for the active, conscious individual.
