Recycled pre-consumer nylonECONYL® nylon is regenerated from nylon waste rather than made new from oil. In VITA it is knitted with elastane into the swim fabric every suit is cut from. Three silhouettes, four colours, one fabric: a short range, made to be worn hard and kept.

IV · How we make claims-
Certified at the mill.
Carvico holds a Global Recycled Standard scope certificate for the recycled nylon in VITA. Control Union audited the mill and approved it; the certificate is set out above, and you can verify it yourself on Textile Exchange.

Pre-consumer, precisely.
VITA's nylon is regenerated from pre-consumer waste, the scrap left from making nylon before it ever reaches a customer. We describe it exactly as it's certified, nothing more.

Made to last.
The lowest-impact suit is the one you keep. Rinse in cool fresh water after the sea or pool, wash by hand, and dry flat in the shade.
